Dr. John R. Gibson was recognized by a patient for his expert care. Who made a difference during your time at Baptist Hospital?
The Baptist Hospital Foundation understands the priceless value of a name. To hear a name evokes memories and reminds us of loved ones. Creating a Named Fund within the Foundation is one way to recognize a unique person, company, or endeavor while providing financial support for your charity priorities now and into the future.
Determine the Purpose of Your Fund
As a donor, you may restrict the funds to be distributed for a specific purpose or request that the Foundation make grants where need is greatest.
Decide When and How Much to Give
To establish a Named fund, a minimum initial gift of $10,000 can be made through a donation of cash or securities or through a bequest in your will. You can also choose to endow your fund by making a minimum initial gift of $50,000. The money in an endowed fund is invested in perpetuity and the income generated will provide support for your program priorities.
Friends, family and colleagues can contribute to your Named Fund through regular gifts or to recognize special occasions.
Name Your Fund
A Named Fund may be established in your own name or in honor of a loved one or associate. Many donors choose to name their fund after parents, spouses, children, or others whose names mean something special to them. Donors can also remain anonymous and select a name that reflects the fund's charitable purpose.
