BAPTIST HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES 2010 MEDICAL STAFF LEADERS
 
NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – Jan. 22, 2010 - Baptist Hospital has announced its medical staff officers and department chiefs for 2010.
 
Medical staff officers for 2010 include Dr. A. Brian Wilcox, Jr. as chief of staff; Dr. Robert M. Hutton as vice chief of staff; Dr. Chace Carpenter as president; and Dr. Heather L. Andrews as secretary/treasurer.
 
The 2010 department chiefs include:

  • Dr. Michael J. Sutter, chief of anesthesiology
  • Dr. Robert M. Hutton, chief of emergency medicine
  • Dr. Venkat Reddy, chief of family medicine
  • Dr. Tracey E. Doering, chief of internal medicine
  • Dr. Gregory R. Weaver, chief of medical imaging
  • Dr. Geoffrey H. Smallwood, chief of obstetrics and gynecology
  • Dr. Mary Frances Kerr, chief of ophthalmology
  • Dr. J. Wills Oglesby, chief of orthopedics
  • Dr. Daniel D. Viner, chief of otolaryngology
  • Dr. Barrett D. Brantley, chief of pathology
  • Dr. Jon E. Betts, chief of pediatrics
  • Dr. Joseph B. DeLozier, chief of plastic surgery
  • Dr. George B. Lynch, chief of surgery
  • Dr. Mark D. Flora, chief of urology

In addition, Dr. Hanson B. Cowan will serve as representative of the intensivist program, Dr. Christopher Trabue will serve as representative of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Dr. John C. Austin will serve as liaison for IT issues.
