WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY SEMINARS OFFERED DURING FEBRUARY AT BAPTIST HOSPITAL

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jan. 29, 2010 - Baptist Hospital's Metabolic Surgery Center is offering several weight loss surgery seminars to educate patients, family members and friends who want to learn more about the weight loss procedures available. Seminars are free of charge. Support groups are also offered and open to anyone who has undergone weight loss surgery. Weight Loss Surgery General Education Seminar

A seminar covering all aspects of weight loss surgery, including procedures performed, the process from consultation to aftercare, risks of surgery, complications, outcomes, medication and diet. Free of charge and open to patients, family members and friends interested in learning more about bariatric surgery. Bandstanders Support Group

Dickson Weight Loss Surgery Support Group

A support group open to all weight loss surgery patients at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 1. A dietitian will also be on hand to answer questions from pre-operative and post-operative patients. Free of charge and open to the public. The meeting will be held at Dickson First United Methodist Church, located at 215 North Main Street in Dickson.
